Alicia Ali

The internal dialogue of Alicia’s mind, takes flights into rapture and devastation.  This blending ground of emotions, and thought is used as a platform in which she creates her conceptual pieces of art.  Based in New York City , she has gained much of her inspiration from her walks around the city, and her daily interactions.   Angry brush strokes, intense line divides, and saturated bursts of color show pain is prevalent in her private moments.  However, resilience powers her work as she peaks new altitudes.  Alicia uses predominantly acrylic bases and raw materials that are used  to entice and inspire.  Alicia’s work style, although private, intensifies with passion.  Her hope is that her observers will find their own perspective in her expressive form.
